I’m a bit of an oddity (aren’t we all?), and I’ll tell you why. I find myself, an old-fashioned girl at heart, learning how to thrive in a modern world. I believe in relationships that go deep—the kind that form slowly over time spent investing in meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and mutual understanding. The kind of connections you make when you take the time to really get to know someone beyond their latest Instagram post, a hurried hello, and the flurry of busyness that keeps us all running circles around each other at an alarming speed.

After falling into the freelance life quite by accident, I have discovered that each time I venture into a partnership with a new client, the meaningful connection formed speaks to this old-fashioned girl’s heart. My Story
Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, (Go, Bills!) I’ve learned a thing or two from living in the city of good neighbors. People ‘round these parts work hard, give freely, and are fiercely proud of where they’re from. That’s my story too.
A devoted book girl from an early age, my love for reading was matched only by my passion for writing. After dabbling in poetry, children’s literature, and inspirational fiction, I found my writing home in the nonfiction realm of business writing. A graduate of SUNY Buffalo State College’s Public Communication program (2014), I set off into the professional world of nonprofit and corporate communications. In 2019 I took a blind leap into a freelance writing career, and I haven’t looked back since!
These days, I’m living the good life with my husband, family, and our bevy of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Whether I’m lost in a good book or lost in conversation with one of my people, I have found joy in embracing my story—and in celebrating yours.
